My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This puppy is part of our Fabulous Five litter! Their mother is a blue heeler mix around 30 lbs. and the father is believed to be a lab or shepherd, born on 5/10/18. The pups were surrendered after an accidental litter in Alabama to a high volume shelter and we stepped in to help!

Kamaro is the bossy man of the bunch. He has a great deal of confidence and enjoys working with his handler. He has a lot of drive for tug and fetch and does so very naturally. Although small in size compared to the other pups, he makes up for his small stature with personality! Kamaro will do best in a home that wishes to continue some type of sport dog training to ensure he has the appropriate outlets for his work ethic. It is recommended that his adopter have experience with working breeds because of this and that they continue to challenge him physically and mentally as he grows.

Kamaro is a quick learner and has already learned “sit,” “down,” and the start of a “place” command. He has been exposed to agility, which he really enjoys and did very well at. He is also being crate and potty trained while he waits for his new home, as well as socialized and exposed to new things daily.
