Ruby was adopted as a rescue from Missouri when she was about 6 months old. The man who initially fostered her was there volunteering for a local woman who took in strays. One puppy followed him for his entire visit, never leaving his side, so he brought her back to New England and fostered her until we adopted her.
She is an energetic girl who loves to go on walks or runs, watch birds (and bark at them) and cuddle with an adult. She craves attention and will likely make sure she is in whatever room you are at any time of day.
Ruby really needs a home with no children. We now have 3 children who Ruby struggles with. My 2 older children have learned her limits but my youngest son has special needs and does not understand that Ruby needs space from him. Unfortunately, after some biting incidents between her and my son, we have decided that she would be better off in another home.
She is a very sweet dog with adults and deserves a home where she can be happy and comfortable
