Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We picked up Ziva almost 8 years ago, when she was just 8 weeks old, from an out of state breeder. While not big on being petted, she always wants to be close by and enjoys sitting beside us, especially in the morning and at night. Several years ago, a big dog attacked her, and she tends to be nervous around other dogs. But she is excellent with our young grandchildren. She barks when someone comes to the door but is very friendly, even to complete strangers. We would prefer her to be in a home where someone is there most of the time, as she so enjoys being around loved ones. We have had her on a grain-free diet, as she has had some skin/itching issues. Due to skin irritation, she has had to go on medication several times for brief periods. And her fast growing hair requires grooming every 6 weeks or so. We are fond of Ziva. But with a growing number of grandchildren that live at a distance, we want to spend more money on travel and family and less on a pet.
