Hi! My name's Benji. My owner surrendered me to Sadie's Safe House via an anonymous drop off in California. I'm 8 years old a pretty chill little dude. I like to walk around outside and watch TV. I recently had x-rays and they showed that I have been severely abused prior to my rescue. I was kicked in the back and my pelvis was shattered. I was never taken to the vet or received medical care prior to my rescue by Sadie's Safe House. Unfortunately, because I never received proper treatment, my body healed the break on it's own and I will always walk with a limp. Our veterinary orthopedic surgeon does not think a surgical intervention will change anything at this point and may actually start causing me pain. I will never be a runner or very active and should go to a home without small (under 5) children.
