Meet Samson! Holy personality! We are constantly smiling at this boy and his goofy ways. Once you get to know him, the funny is overflowing. Samson is working on a few things here at the center. His biggest strength... dogs. He's got the "good dog" energy and can put most dogs at ease with his sweet personality. He is very playful and engaging with other dogs with a soft and gentle approach. He absolutely loves to be with dogs and would prefer to live in a home with other canines. It makes him so happy! His current big project is learning about us crazy humans. We approach dogs head on, we talk loud, we reach for every dog we see, we stare straight into their eyes.... it's all very confusing and Oh-So opposite of how dogs prefer to communicate. Samson is trying to figure us all out. He is learning all about how to say "hi", how to approach and/or be approached, how to trust and how to be a dog in a human world. He is making such amazing progress! Once he gets past the initial introduction, he is loving, sweet, and submissive with his people. We believe any previous exposure to real world experiences and/or to people was extremely limited, so currently, he's working hard and making up for lost time! Wow what a world out there! Samson is expanding his social circle, walking on a leash beautifully, enjoying play groups, large doggie group walks and practice, practice, practice. The very good news is, this boy is slowly letting go of the old associations and embracing the new. We are so proud of him! Our team will provide you with all the support you need to help this beautiful energy transition into the real world. His new human will need to slowly gain his trust and then slowly expose him to life. He doesn't take long, he is young and eager. A calm, loving, patient person willing to use us as your support crew is all this guy needs! Got another dog that can be his BFF and have the desire to truly change a life?
