Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We fostered Bear as part of a rescue, 2 or 3 years ago, and he quickly became part of our family. He loves other dogs and is great with kids, but due to his large size, he probably shouldn't be around small children. I don't think he knows how big he is.
He is a great dog and will bark when he hears the doorbell. He's doing this for you, because you are a human and have no idea what dangers could be lurking outside.
Bear hates crates, and due to his large size, he will simply walk through the door. He may injure himself if crated. If there is another dog around, he will sleep if you are gone.
He doesn't do well at doggy day care or boarding, but does fine at groomers. He probably needs a family that is home a lot (homemaker, teleworker, retired), and probably has another dog. He is very needy, and desires attention.
We recently had a change in our extended family, that is forcing us to travel more, and we can't board this poor baby. It must remind him of the pound, prior to rescue
