My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LIL’ BIT: 2-3 year-old black & rust male; 7.5 lbs, 10.” docked tail, natural ears; neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative.

Lil’ Bit was found astray near the end of winter, cold, hungry, lonely, just having a miserable time outside on his own. Late one evening, he limped up on to the front porch of a very kind woman who brought this tiny little guy in out of the cold and called IMPS to come to his rescue.

Lil’ Bit has had a leg injury that was untreated. The vet did not recommend surgery, but prescribed exercise instead to build up his muscles. And boy is he getting exercise! His leg doesn’t slow him down at all – he loves to play chase and wrestle with the other dogs at his foster home. He has improved 100% and is a beautiful healthy Min Pin!

This sweet little guy is estimated to be about 2-3 years old, and with proper care and nutrition, has turned into a healthy, playful and fun-loving Minpin. He is small (hence his name!) but he doesn’t know it!

He had a rough time out in the winter on his own, but is now ready to play and give love to someone special for many years to come. Do you have a warm and safe spot for this boy to call home?

Note: Lil’ Bit is located in Lexington, KY.
