Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Copper is smart, loyal, a good listener, and in great health. He will be 4 in October. Copper knows basic commands and is a quick learner. He is house-trained and feels most secure when in his crate if home alone. He will walk on a leash but prefers a fenced yard. He can become anxious in unfamiliar situations, and needs gentle encouragement to build confidence. He approaches new people cautiously. He can be over-exuberant playing with other dogs but quickly responds to correction. He shares chew toys nicely with his dog friends and understands taking turns. Because of his playing energy, he would be best with older children or teens who are experienced with dogs. Copper’s loving nature will emerge in a home where he has time to build trust and feel safe and secure. He appreciates smiles, neck and back rubs and, he loves a good hug.
He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered.
