My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hey there, fancy meeting you here! My name is Ryson, and I am so very happy to meet you! I am a male, one year old bouncing, happy, goofy, wiggly bundle of pure Boxer joy! I’d love to tell you about my story and let you know how I became part of the HBR family. Do you have a minute? Oh great, you do!

My story started when I was found wondering the streets all by myself. I was tired, not feeling well, and boy was I hungry! A really nice lady found me, gave me some food, and then called HBR to take me in and help. Since then, I have been hanging out in an awesome foster home, eating well, and getting healthy. Life is so much better now!

While in my foster home I have been learning so many really cool things. For example I know that I like to play! I like to play a lot. I will play with other dogs, with kids, and with toys. I just like to play! I am also learning how to not go potty in the house, and I have already learned to sleep at night in my dog crate. My foster mom is always saying how smart I am and that I am a quick learner. I don’t want to brag or anything, but she’s right!

In addition to learning about all of the things I can do, I have also been spending time getting healthy in my foster home. I have been eating well and putting on weight. My foster mom tells me I need to do this so that I can go through my heart worm treatments. She tells me not to worry though, because HBR is committed to helping me get rid of them, and that since I am young, I am expected to make a full recovery.

So that’s it. That’s the start of my story. The only thing that is missing is the ending. I really hope you will be part of my present and my future. Why don’t you go ahead and fill out an adoption application and let’s see if our stories go well together?
