Hi, I’m Rocky! I was born on November 27, 2007, that means I’m nearly one and a half years old! Here are my stats: 63 pounds of lean muscle flashy fawn, neutered, docked tail, with natural floppy ears, I even come micro-chipped with a pure breed certificate.
My human family had to move to an apartment complex that did not allow pets. Sadly, I had to say good-bye to the 4 adorable kids who saw me grow up. Oh, how I love them! The little one used to ride on my back! My human Daddy took me jogging regularly as he was training for the reserve, so I’ve really built up some stamina! I love to play, run, and have a ball! I know all the tricks in the book – sit, stay, leave it, give paw, and lie down. I’m a happy-go-lucky, fearless type of a guy.
But be warned, I’m also a wise guy who will test you. If you give an inch, I will plow ahead and take the full yard, and because I’m a big fella, I’ve usually gotten my way. Well, now I’m at this new foster home … geesh, can we talk? Lemme tell ya, these people have so-oo-oo many rules, I mean, I have to abide by them all! Plus I have to watch myself around the two foster sisters as well. Holy mackerel! I’m learning my lessons quickly. These puny female pups really mean business, not easy to push around. But oh, they are so much fun! They can out run me alla da day long. We play tag, tug-o-war, boxing, wrestling, flip-the-dog and crazy yard races. They sure get me pooped out and keep me outta trouble.
My foster Daddy gave all of us new nicknames – mine is Big Head, the other two are Middle Head and Little Head; together we are, “Hey-you-three-heads, stop it!”
Even though I’m having a blast here, I’m looking for my forever home. I look up to my humans for strong leadership and set the limit for me. Otherwise, I’ll make up my own goofy doggy rules that are not so good by human standards. Won’t you come and be my pack leader?
