Lizzy is a 4-year old Boxer mix who has been waiting patiently for her forever home. While she has been happy to crash at her foster's house, she deserves a family of her own! Lizzy is a love bug - she immediately adores any person she meets and her wiggling tail says it all. She is house trained and trustworthy being left alone in the house. She loves to go for walks and is a low-maintenance dog all-around. Lizzy does get nervous meeting new dog friends on-leash, but is content to interact with them off-leash. The adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at PetValu in Trumbull on Friday August 30th from 2pm - 6pm. On Saturday August 31st CPR will be at Petsmart in Plainville from 10am - 2pm! On Sunday September 1st CPR will be at PetValu in Southbury from 10am-1pm. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $400 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
