Hi, my name is Suzie. I am a 9-yr-old female Schnauzer-Shih Tzu mix. And I am the cutest dog ever! Just look at my pictures! My previous owner went into a nursing home and the family did not have time to take care of me. But they loved me so much that they made sure I went to a good rescue.

You see, I am diabetic and mostly blind. My diabetes is controlled with 2 easy shots daily and special food. I get around well most of the time but occasionally bump into things – mostly when I’m happily excited and get in a hurry. But I’m such a happy girl, it doesn’t bother me. I do stairs well and quickly learned the house layout. I am housebroken, UTD on all my shots, and heart worm negative. I am living in a foster home with a big dog and get along well with her.

I love being in the yard, walking around and smelling everything. In fact, my foster mom has to come get me to go inside or I’d stay out all day. I like to be near my foster mom and stay as close as possible. I even go in the bathroom to keep her safe when she showers. I sleep on the bed touching her, too. My foster mom says I am one of the sweetest dogs she’s ever had. I am looking for a home where someone is there most of the time. I just like being with my person. But I am also very good when mom is gone, too. I would love a fenced yard but I do well on a leash, too. I am being fostered by Kathi in Cincinnati. My adoption fee is $350 and I’m worth every penny!
