My story

Scooby is a big boy, He  needs to be in a home with a privacy or tall fence He is about 4 years old and 80 lbs. He is a very loving and playful dog, but he doesn't like any other animals. He is perfect for a young active family that can give him a lot of attention and help him with his high energy. He is very strong and needs some training, especially to walk on the leash. We don't recommend to have him around any other animals. He is a big boy but he loves people and is very misunderstood. Scooby also can escape fairly easily! He is very good with commands and willing to please.  Please give him a chance.

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
