My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Mercury. I was born on April 29, 2018. I am a female Staffordshire/hound mix puppy looking for a fun, forever home.

My mom came into the shelter pregnant and had me and my 12 siblings and also took in another puppy in need. That makes 14 puppies! We had a bit of a rough patch a few weeks into our lives but we are healthy now and ready for our forever homes.

I'm only 10 lbs. right now, but still growing and I might get to be around 40 lbs. when I'm fully grown. I am one of the smaller ones but I play as hard as my siblings. I have lots of puppy energy but am sweet and cuddly when I’m done playing. I'd do great in a home that is ready for an energetic puppy. Especially if that home already has a doggie playmate who can show me the ropes and match my energy level. My ideal family is prepared to take the time to train me; I love affection, treats and toys so I'll be a fast learner for anyone who can spend the time to help me become the best me possible!
