Meet Lacey Lou!!

Lacey Lou is a 55lb, approximately 2-year-old, black Lab/shepherd mix. Lacey’s background prior to becoming a Lucky Lab is not completely known as she was found as a stray on a back-country road.

Lacey was taken in by some kind-hearted people who then reached out to Lacey’s current foster. Lacey is extremely affectionate and loves to give kisses and hugs. Lacey is energetic and has a zest for life that is infectious. Lacey knows basic commands such as “sit” and “down” and mostly comes when she is called.

Lacey Lou is very smart, eager to learn and eager to please. With her intelligence, she would benefit from a home that will continue her education. Lacey walks well on a leash and would be great for someone who loves to hike or run. She does get a bit suspicious of new dogs approaching while on leash but with proper guidance, does just fine. Given Lacey’s energy, she would do well in a family with older children we believe.

Lacey currently lives with 4 other dogs, goes to doggy daycare and is very dog friendly as well as rather intuitive when it comes to meeting new dogs and winning them over as friends. She loves to play and romp but after she’s done with play time, likes nothing more than to curl up for a good nap; preferably with her human.

Lacey is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and ready to find her forever family.
