Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pete was found as a stray and listed on the MCACC found pets system but never claimed. He was dirty and matted.
Pete had two growths on his hind end that we had surgically removed and tested. Neither were cancerous. He was such a good patient and has never gone potty in his "recovery" room.
Pete is now altered, fully vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm, tick & Lyme disease.
Pete does well with most dogs but we wish him to be placed with altered males and females only.
We believe Pete to be an approximately 7 years old, retriever chow mix. He is incredibly sweet and well behaved. Its difficult to understand how someone was not caring for this wonderful boy.
If you are interested in giving Pete a forever home, please contact us at britrescueaz@cox.net.
Our process includes an application (please request), an interview, home visit and meet/greet with all family members (two and four legged).
