My story

Allie is a beautiful 7-9 year old girl who has a sweet, tender disposition and is very affectionate. She loves to go for walks and play fetch in the back yard. She will also snuggle up next to you on the couch for a long movie. She will keep your back yard free of critters, too! She looks and acts younger than her age, so don’t let her middle-aged status scare you off. Allie can be protective about her people and her home, so she is best suited as an only dog.

If you’re looking for a fun, loving girl, you’ve found her! Fill out an application today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All AARF dogs have all received their shots, are on heartworm and flea preventative, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. All AARF pets are fostered in loving foster homes, where they receive love and attention, beginning training and socialization. We have a group of fantastic fosters who help us to create an adoptable and healthy companion for your home.

We don't "sell" dogs here at AARF. But we do ask for a minimum adoption donation to help us cover the cost of all of the vet care the dogs have received. Effective, January 1, 2010, our adoption donation is $225 for dogs. All adoption donations are tax-deductible, and help AARF continue our rescue and adoption program.

All AARF cats have all received their shots, have been FIV/FeLV tested, are on flea and tick preventative and have been microchipped and spayed/neutered.
