Posted: 8/15/2018 Darla is the proud mother of four puppies, Dexter, Duke, Delaney, and Dixie. She came from a shelter where she was discovered to be pregnant, and gave birth to her puppies two days after arriving in her foster home. She has been such a wonderful mother to her pups, caring for them daily, watching over them, being protective and loving. Darla herself is a sweetheart. She loves people, is comfortable with every person she meets, and shows her affection in many different ways. She loves being with her humans, comes often for pets and hugs, and enjoys cuddling. She also enjoys being out in the yard, running and playing, and because she is a young dog, she certainly has lots of energy, probably as much as her puppies do. She likes to go for walks and enjoys the sights and sounds around her. She is a petite little girl, weighing in at about 15 pounds. Her breed is hard to determine. Her hair is long and silky, her face resembles a dachshund, but she has long legs and looks like she could have spaniel in her. She is young, probably about a year and a half old. Whatever her breed is, she certainly is a special girl, and is looking forward to having a family to call her own.
