My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My brother had to part with his dog when he went into assisted living in another state this summer. We have been fostering her since then. We tried unsuccessfully to find a home using postings at dog care centers and our personal network of dog owners. When the school year starts we will be away from home too much to provide adequate care for the dog so we are hoping to find a home anywhere in our area. We also have an elderly dog already.

Stevie is a 14 year old female border collie mix in good health. She is loving and gentle and does not have any behavior issues or physical problems besides being a little deaf. A fenced yard would be a safety plus.

We are looking to place Stevie in a good home. Can you help us?
