This year we are trying something new, today thru 12/20/18. We will only be placing our available parrots in low occupancy homes during the holiday season.
(Low Human traffic homes).

Please try not to call us or email thru this adoption page in advance, prior to submitting in your adoption application.

We’ve discovered that the busy holiday season isn’t a good time for a parrot to acclimate into most new homes. We have learned that homes with just 2 people and no other visitors over the holidays has been beneficial for all. Normally e try to focus our adoption placements with our veterans this time of year, but it’s not fair to the unchosen parrot awaiting a new home.

*We’ve had to reduce our service area to 100 miles of Portland, Oregon for most, accept veterans.

Chicka’ is a semi-tame fully feathered Congo African Grey. Her owner passed away before we could learn much about her. Chicka’ is a bit Skittish, but she is shy.
We recommend a home with an experienced parrot handler. Chicka’s adoption fee is reasonable, and includes her cage.
