Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We found Jake roaming the neighborhood, pulled over and called to him and he came running. That was 6 years ago and with him possibly being 2-3 years old he would be 8-9 years old now.
Because of Jake's behavior and responses to us, we suspect he had been abused as a puppy. Jake is okay with other dogs up to a point but they do wear on him after a while. He's had times being with a cat and is okay. We don't have children but when they visit us, he is okay around them.
Jake's nature is very "low-key", doesn't require entertainment or a lot of attention; he basically does his own thing and seems very content. Jake loves to be outside but not having a fenced yard and our busy schedules he doesn't get outside much. He also loves to take rides. While on rides with us he does seem to have slight anxiety (constant panting) so we give him prescribed medication.
Because of my husband's new job schedule and with my jobs, we're unable to give Jake what he truly needs!
