My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"UNITED WE STAND WITH ALL RESCUES AND SHELTERS" Bringing kids, veterans and K-9's together! All fur-babies are kid, cat, dog and people tested and ADP APPROVED! Evaluations are done on personality and temperament prior and after arrival to our foster care program.

Meet our sweet girl, friendly, playful and outgoing! She was found by the ACO and her owners have not claimed her. She sits here in foster day after waiting for her family. She would love a family that is kind, snuggles and could play with her! Are you her fur-ever family? Kid, cat, dog and people tested and ADP APPROVED!

American Dog Project believes that children and dogs belong together. You can adopt with confidence our group was designed with children, families, veterans and pets in mind. Prior to our puppies and dogs going into our Adoption Program "ALL" dogs are approved SAFER (Safety Assessment for Evaluating Re-homing). We work with qualified rescue and shelter staff to identify the possible risks to kids, cat, dogs and people prior to entering our foster homes. Once a dog is SAFER approved, our foster will further assess temperament, personality and behaviors so you can learn more about the puppy or dog your interest in. While in foster care our families work very hard with with each individual puppy/dog to help transition them into a home environment. This includes: Basic Manners, Appropriate Behaviors, House breaking, Crate Training and making Medical Appointments.

We work very hard with our Veterinarians to be sure are are adopting a healthy puppies/dogs. We require the following medical be done prior to posting our puppies/dogs for adoption including, unless specified due to health or weight: De-Wormed, Heart Worm Testing (positive results will be treat them prior to adoption), Spayed/Neutered, Current Vaccines Age Appropriate, Rabies, Flea/Tick and Heart Worm Prevention. Once we receive your application the process beings. While you wait we will hold the puppy/dog you are interested until we have approved or denied your application.
We are so excited to for opportunity to help you find your "NEW" fur-baby. If you have any other questions please feel free to email us anytime AmericanDogProject@Gmail.com.
