Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Valentina and her siblings were rescued from a meat truck in China. They were in terrible shape and at only a couple months old were fighting for their life. Not only had they been tortured and abused, but they were all fighting parvo as well. Our amazing rescue partners in China were able to rescue them, and immediately began medical treatment to save their lives. They overcame Parvo and as if that wasn't enough, they ended up with pneumonia after that. These babies are the definition of survivors! Unfortunately not all of the puppies made it but those that did, are truly amazing dogs. Most of them have found their forever homes however we still have 2 very sweet sisters that would each love a home of their own!
Valentina is a 7 month old Caucasian Shepherd, also known as a Russian Bear Dog. Before applying to adopt this beautiful girl, please make sure to do research on the breed as she will likely be close to 200 lbs full grown! Combine that with a breed that is stubborn, strong headed and incredibly smart, she will need an active home that will give her plenty of physical AND mental stimulation on a daily basis. We are being picky about who adopts this breed as they definitely aren't going to thrive in every home or situation.
This particular girl wants to be the boss so she will need a firm leader to teach her the rules.
