Do you need a sweet cuddle bug in your life? Look no further; Spike is the perfect pup for the job. Spike’s life was turned upside down when his previous owner dumped him at the pound. He spent 8 long months watching people pass by him without giving him a second glance. Being one of the longest residents of the local shelter, we knew we had to give him a second chance at a better life. Don’t let those grey hairs on his cute face fool you, Spike is still a young boy at the ripe age of 4. He is quite the charmer with his big personality, and will surely make everyone he meets fall head-over-heels in love with him. He’s a sucker for a good scratch down and a yummy treatand always aims to please his human companion. As playful and active as he is, Spike settles down nicely for a nap either on a doggy bed or will happily lay right by your side. He is the true definition of a man's best friend. Spike enjoys the companies of others but is selective when choosing a canine companion. He prefers dogs of his same size and breed.
