Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Princess Peach is currently living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
Princess came into the rescue through the SPCA in Houston. The staff was madly in love with her! She has that effect on people!!!! We don't know much about her past. What we do know is that she is a super special little girl! Princess is estimated to be 7 years old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She also recently had a dental cleaning and loves her new pearly white teeth!! Princess is crate trained and house trained. She is not currently crated in her foster home because her house manners are fabulous! Princess Peach was diagnosed with a heart murmur that at this time does not require treatment. Her adopters would need to be committed to monitoring her condition, as well as be prepared that heart medications will at some point be a part of her future. This does not mean she can not live a normal, long life. She has many, many years of love yet to give!
Princess Peach has a special power that makes people fall in love with her instantly! She would prefer a forever home where her people are home to spoil her (maybe retired or part time work). She would also love if she could be the only pampered pup in the house. She could possibly live with another canine sibling as long as that pup is laid back and not interested in competing or playing. Her adopters would need to be patient and vigilant as her transition to finding her place is tricky when having to share resources. She is not a fan of her feline fosters siblings. Cats are a no thank you.
What Peach wants you to know is that she loves, loves, loves her people! She wants nothing more than to be held, carried, and snuggled as often as possible! She enjoys soft stuffed squeaky toys, giving lots of kisses, and sleeping in bed with mom and dad is her favorite! She is the quintessential loving lap dog who is low maintenance and big on love!! Oh, did I mention she LOVES HER PEOPLE?! Peach knows her happily ever after is out there! She can't wait to find her forever family! Is it you??
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but Illinois adoptions will be considered. will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
