Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Lenny's Story*
I found Lenny laying in the road in July while on my way to work. He was too terrified to run, so I took him with me. He was covered in fleas; it took three baths for the water to stop running brown with dirt.
I took him with me to the vet and we realized that he had suffered a TBI—traumatic brain injury—at some point in his early life. He had healed, but was blind in one eye and partially blind in the other. Perhaps he didn’t run from me because he couldn’t see well enough to! Thankfully he was heartworm negative and otherwise healthy, so he received his first vaccines and preventatives.
Because of his TBI he tends to be insecure-- little children and other big dogs tend to be too scary for him. He may be able to adjust to another dog with time, but I can't guarantee it. We are still working on house training, but he seems to be crate trained! He is very people oriented; he follows me everywhere, just wanting to be near me. He would be a great cuddle buddy!
