My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Holly is a beautiful, black mingled with gray, female terrier mix with wiry hair. She does have a white patch on her chest. She is comfortable with other dogs when given time to get acquainted. She is too thin at 12 pounds, which was her weight when we got her, but her foster mom will see to it that she will get plenty to eat from now on. Holly, guesstimated to be 3 years old, seldom barks and has done really well with her house training. Holly is up to date on vaccinations, including a bordatella for kennel cough, has been spayed, is heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. She is learning how to walk on a leash and seems to take car rides in stride, but most of all, she enjoys a cozy nap on the couch with her foster mom. Holly’s adoption donation is $440 which includes a nonrefundable $140 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Holly, The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.

After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.

Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
