Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Some of you long time supporters may recognize this face....though it was considerably smaller 2 years ago. This is PICASSO. He turned 2 years old in April and he is a wonderful boy.
PICASSO was in rescue with us back in 2016. A gentleman had come home from work and found a puppy sleeping on his front porch. The poor baby had its jaw broken on both sides causing his jaw to just hang. We rushed him to the vet and were informed the break was most likely caused by a kick to the face...from a human!!! Anyway, his tiny jaw bones were crushed and there was nothing for doctors to pin back together. Our only shot was to try and secure his jaw with a muzzle holding it in place. PICASSO pretty much lived in that muzzle for several long weeks. He had to eat soft food/gruel and wasnt allowed to romp and play like a normal puppy. But it worked!!! And PICASSO was able to lead a very normal life after it healed.
Now here we are...two years later. PICASSO'S parents are going through a divorce. Mom can't have PICASSO where she lives and Dad doesnt have time due to work. So, sweet boy PICASSO is again available for adoption. He is very confused right now, but eager to learn the routine here and make friends. He has been raised around children and another dog. And to top it all off...He Is Gorgeous!!!
