We adopted Sadie from a pet rescue August 2012 (she was born April 2012). She is a silly, quirky, & very cute cat that we have loved having a part of our family. She is VERY affectionate of her owners, almost over-protective. She loves very hard & is a huge cuddler. In August 2017 we welcomed our first son into the world, believing Sadie would do very well with a human sibling. Unfortunately, Sadie's overprotective, fiercely-loving attitude came out as aggression & distain towards our son, despite our best efforts to curb such behavior. She wants to be wherever he is, but not because she's fond of him. She's fighting him for all the attention & has gone as far as swiping/nipping at him (and us when frustrated). Sadie needs a very gentle hand & patience - she will thrive thrive that way. She just wants to be where her people are and be the center of attention and affection. She would do best as a single pet/child who gets showered with ALL the attention - she was much happier that way.
