My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Hugo and I'm very handsome. I'm just over 1 year old, neutered, UTD on my shots and quiet and calm in my crate. I'm a super fast learner and doing really well on sit, stay, down, and touch. I walk perfectly on leash with my prong collar and will match your stride whether walking or running.

I'm a very happy boy and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play with other dogs! I'm kind of a rowdy player, but I get tired and go lay down in the grass.

Hugo is a rambunctious player, and he is still learning appropriate play manners. His "bull in the china shop" style may be too much for some dogs, but he thrives when he is playing with other similar type of dogs. He's not pushy toward dogs who don't reciprocate in the play, but he's still very much a big puppy. Hugo is quiet in his crate, non-destructive, but is extremely mouthy so younger kids would not be recommended at this time.

Hugo will need someone who is patient and willing to be consistent with his training to alleviate the mouthiness. He gets overly excited and uses his mouth. He is not in the least bit aggressive, but will need continued training and a quieter environment.

He loves every human he has ever met, and is a very fun-loving guy! He's a big ham and loves to pose for the camera. He'd love to meet you and show you himself. We think Hugo would be best going to a home with another dog so he can play to his heart's content. That is his biggest joy in life.

Oh, and did we mention that he loves to swim?!
