My story

Meet KENNEDY!!

Kennedy is an approximately 4 month old, currently 4 pound, spayed female terrier mix breed. Mom looks like a Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix or another terrier type.

Kennedy, her mom, and 3 littermates were found in the road as strays. All were covered in fleas, and had hair loss from flea allergies. Although once owned, the owner did not come to the shelter to get them. No worries! Mom is adopted and we are on the job to find forever homes for her babies!

Kennedy is one of the outgoing in the litter. She tends to invite her brothers to play and sets the pace. She loves wrestling with her siblings, and would enjoy a playmate in her new home. We believe she will stay under 10 pounds.

Kennedy is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, current on flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. She will come with a health certificate if transported.

Kennedy's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard she can enjoy supervised (no electric or wireless please), another canine playmate of similar size, and for her safety, and because of puppy sharp nails and teeth, no children under 6 please.

Kennedy is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.

Kennedy is available through the City of Lytle TX Animal Care and Control. The adoption fee is $185, and ground transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185. Ground transport runs every 2 weeks and fills up fast.
