My story

Hey I’m Zeke!I’m a big boy with very little maintenance. Can you believe the irony? I’m a 65 pound, 8 ½ years old hound and pitbull mix doggy. I am a little shy and timid to start but warm up quickly and love all people. Walks aren't really my thing, but snacks and bad reality TV are. I am extremely low maintenance, 100% housebroken and have the most gentle disposition. I am disinterested in other animals when on a walk but prefer to be the only animal in the home (mostly because I don't agree with ARNO's assessment that I am, in fact, a dog). I would rather not be inside when there is a loud and crowded party. I'll be chilling out back until things die down. I need a nice yard with some shade to chill when it's nice out, a spot on the sofa to watch my pictures, and a few walks a week to get some sniffs in. I tried to swim once and sunk like a bag of rocks, so I'll never try that again! If you’re a couch potato like me and need a best friend who thinks the world of you, then I’m your guy. Have you seen my adorable face? I love posing for pics. Let’s take a selfie together! My adoption fee is $200. This includes a spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, a microchip, a heartworm test, and, if needed, heartworm treatment.________________________________________________For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery. For more information email: adopt@animalrescueneworleans.org.To complete an application, please visit: https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.Please visit our facebook for more information about adoption specials, and adoption events.
