Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winston and Samantha are a loving bonded pair searching for their forever home. Winnie is a happy black and tan, 11 year old, 9 pound boy and his partner Sammie is a red haired beauty who also weighs 9 pounds and is 10 years old.
Sam and Winnie are a laid back, easy going coupe who love a lap to cuddle on. They both are wonderful on a leash and enjoy a car ride. This well behaved couple will spend time in their crate without complaint and will sleep through the night. They would love a home with big bed privileges.
Sam and Winnie get along well with other dogs and children of all ages. They have not been around cats, but their do not attack the chickens in their foster home in Georgia, so likely they would be fine with a cat. Sam is more active than Winnie and loves to go for an active walk and to play. Winston enjoys a more sedate pace and to spend quality lap time. Sam and Winnie’s foster mom has said that they are simply wonderful dogs and any adopter would be so lucky to have them to love and hold!
Samantha and Winston are house trained, crate trained and doggie door trained. Like all dachshunds they will need to be confident in their environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.
This happy, healthy bonded pair would be a wonderful addition to any home. They are waiting for their happy forever home life to begin! Apply to adopt them today!
