Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Three years ago, we arrived in California and adopted a cat that was left behind by the previous owners of our house. We called him Monkey, because he was always monkeying around and playing. We brought him to the vet to have him neutered, get his shots etc, as it seemed like he hadn’t been looked after very well. As part of the routine tests, the vet found out that he was FIV positive. We're flying next week back home and we found out he cannot fly with us. It looks like Monkey will have to stay here in California at very short notice, and we’re looking for a safe, loving home for him. He’s a terrific cat – patient and fun and curious with perfect house-manners, who loves nothing more than to curl up on someone’s knee and snooze (or chase their shoelaces, depending on the time of day). And he’s brilliant with kids – as our toddler will attest.
On behalf of Monkey,
