Reyla is a 6 month old, 16 pound miniature cattle dog mix. She is current on her vaccinations, and is spayed and microchipped.
She is extremely playful and affectionate. She is potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows over a dozen commands.
She requires an active, social family who understands herding dog behavior and is experienced in dog training.
Reyla needs extensive daily exercise and playtime, at a minimum of 2-4 hours each day. She also requires daily mental stimulation through consistent, lifelong training of old and new commands. She would do best with a family who often hikes or jogs with her, and would excel at agility training.
She gets super anxious in new places and gets very car sick. She has many dietary restrictions, but does well on duck or rabbit.
Though she is gentle with cats, she chases them. She has little experience with other dogs and needs slow introductions to them. She doesn’t do well with children as she will try herding them by jumping or biting.
