We found "Heidi" (my grandchildren named her) the evening of July 3, 2018, running frantically in our neighborhood after coming home from a fireworks display. She had no collar, so no ID. We've walked her around the neighborhood looking for her family. We took her to a vet to see if she had a chip, but she did not, but we found she's about 1 1/2 years old, and is not spayed. We posted on several websites, including NextDoor, Rover.com and Facebook. Posted posters in parks and neighborhoods, and the local shelter, but still had no leads. We finally took her to the vet and had her chipped and vaccinated. Heidi deserves a secure home where people love her and can invest the time and energy to train her. We love her but are leaving the country for an extended period of time, so must find a home for her soon!!
