Sunny came to us from a local CT pound after she'd been removed from a hoarding situation. She was initially scared of people - when a person approached her she would freeze. She now has learned that people can be trusted. It takes a little while for her to warm up, but with gentleness and patience she soon decides you're a new friend. She has zero aggression - just a little residual cautiousness.

Sunny loves other dogs and we would like to see her in a home with another balanced dog. Timid dogs tend to gain confidence from another dog and she will do best with a canine companion.

She will do well in a home with slightly older children (13 years old or older). The fast movements and loud voices of young children could scare her.

She is fine in a home with dog-savvy cats.

Sunny would like a home where her family will continue to introduce her to new people and experiences.

She will make a wonderful new family member!
