My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Turtle, Max, and Ruby are 2 year old Diamond Doves that would like to be adopted together. Max and Ruby are female. We are not sure about Turtle but think he is male. The birds get along well except when Ruby laid eggs and Max pecked at her until the eggs were removed. They are quiet birds and make a soft cooing sound.

Diamond doves are native to Australia and are smaller than the Ring-necked Dove. They are about the size of a Lovebird. They have different needs than parrots. They spend time on the ground and fly back and forth, requiring a wide rather than tall cage; they do not climb bars like parrots. Their diet consists of seed, greens, and fruits.
