My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster says:
Without any real experience in training a traumatized dog we took Freddy into our home about 3 weeks ago. We knew he was going to be a hard case but we wanted to see if he could come out of his shell in our zoo. He loves being around our 2 dogs and is really acting normal when he is playing with them. Being around humans is a little more stressful for the little guy and seems to be more comfortable around men than women. He is very “social” as he wants to be around us but will not let us come to him especially in open spaces. He takes treats from us and will play with us as long as we don’t try to grab him.

We are slowly working on having him on a leash but not ready to be out in the big scary world just yet. He has made a lot of progress since we first got him but the road to rehabilitation is going to be a long one for Freddy. He is very sweet and would be perfect for someone or a family (probably no small kids) with at least one dog who can afford to spend their time to work with him. If we cannot be home and supervise him it is best to crate him as he can get into trouble left alone.

He is pretty much house broken and uses the pet door to go to the yard when he needs to go.
