My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepe is a very sweet and loving little Chihuahua that was dumped at a high-kill shelter in Downey. Because Pepe was the small guy and such a push-over, his kennel mates would eat up all the food before Pepe could get any... Pepe was literally starving to death! A kind rescuer saw Pepe wasting away, took some photos and sent out the plea for someone to save him... and we answered it! His foster mom says he is a well-behaved perfect dog, very gentle and loving. He is house-broken and leash trained. Pepe is currently working on getting fattened up and he is on his way to being a healthy, plump dog!
