My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby and Scruffy are a chosen set of siblings. Abby was discovered in a box in the woods, abandoned at about 6 weeks old. Someone heard her cries and got her to help. Scruffy was found in Maryland during the severe storms, very stressed and underweight, scared to death of everything. We got Scruffy first and he did not want to respond to any one, including our own cats. So, our friend told us about Abby and we thought these two lost souls might be perfect for each other. Abby is quite bold and playful and Scruffy is still shy and timid, but oh what a difference the two of them make together. Abby gets Scruff to chase her and play with toys and he’s even decided sitting on a lap and being petted isn’t the worst thing that could happen to him. Abby is 12 weeks old and Scruffy is 13-14. He is a much larger cat than Abby is, she is very small. They have been spayed/neutered, had their first distemper shot, been treated for worms, fleas, and ear mites and are both very healthy eaters. Since getting a regular food source and some love and companionship, they are both doing great. Abby could walk into a house with 5 Great Danes and soon be the boss; Scruffy is always going to be timid and will need a home with patience and extra love and not real noisy. I think a home without other pets or children would be best. We’d like them to go together since they have such a strong bond now and Scruffy would be devastated if he lost Abby. Won’t you consider adopting this mismatched brother and sister and showing them that how life begins doesn’t mean that is how it goes on. Teach them there really are good and kind and loving people just waiting to give these two munchkins a chance. They are being fostered by Sylvia 610-869-3403.
