My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cindy Lou was rescued from a high kill shelter. She was making the best of her situation playing with other dogs and greeting everyone that stopped by. This dog is perfect inside and has played beautifully with small dogs and big dogs. Cindy Lou is a cuddler and will allow other dogs to sleep on her. She is a great young year old dog around 39 lbs and she loves to go walking, is house and crate trained. She is the best!

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday, January 11th from 2pm - 6pm and on Saturday January 12th from 10am - 2pm, CPR will be at PetSmart in Plainville. Lastly on Sunday January 13th CPR will be hosting an open house at the adoption center at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury from 10am - 1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
