My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Basics:

Tig, 9 weeks old, 8 lb. female Pittie mix? Weimeraner mix? Doberman mix? Everyone has a guess but one thing is for sure, I'm absolutely stunning. A muted tri-color girl with the most mesmerizing eyes you’ve ever seen.

The name’s Tig (sometimes Tiglet…for long). A couple weeks ago, my previous owner dropped me off at the shelter because I had a tummy ache, which resulted in some accidents around the house. * sigh * OMD scooped me up a couple hours later and I headed to the vet for a bit just to make sure nothing else was going on. As suspected, I was just having a rough day and after a little r&r and a few meals (I was extremely underweight), I was given a clean bill of health and I have been ready to take on the world! Since then, I've been hanging out with my foster parents and foster mom keeps saying something about being full of piss and vinegar. Surely that's meant as a compliment? It's crazy how a little love and patience (and food) has helped me grow into a brave, opinionated girlie. There’s nothing more attractive than a confident lady, right? I have learned the stairs (and not just a couple, I'm talking the big staircase), learned about toys (did you know that any object can be a toy?), and I've learned about grass, leaves and other fun things to chase in the backyard. Foster mom says I'm like watching a fly in the wild because I'm such a busy body. She has some funny sayings! I also love to cuddle once I'm done making mischief or nap on the couch with the FPs. I have been around other pups and though I can be a little timid in the beginning, I love to make new friends. I’m looking for a forever home that will keep me socialized and it would be great to have a fur sibling to show me the ropes. Oh and not to brag, but I'm already awesome at crate training and dare I say it...pretty darn good at housebreaking when kept on a schedule!

Gotta Be Honest:

Toes, shoes, pants...nothing is safe from my shark teeth. I'm also a little jumpy and I do have a high-pitched, Pterodactyl-like bark, which is always fun. Oh and I've been known to talk back like a teenager on occasion. It’s cool though because I sure am pretty 😉
