My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet CAMRY!!

Camry is a 1 year old, approx 13 pound, spayed female mix. Her breed mix is unknown, but she looks possibly like a long haired chihuahua/spaniel type blend.

Camry was originally brought into a nearby semi-rural shelter as a stray. That shelter became overcrowded and her time was up. We couldn't let that happen so we are helping Camry find her forever home.

Camry has an outgoing personality, and a nice temperament. She is active and playful, but knows when it is time to chill out. She does well in a crate, and has excelled in potty training. She can sometimes be vocal when she wants attention, or wants to play, so may not be suitable for apartment or other close living arrangements. She gets along with other dogs and has not paid attention to the cats in her foster home.
Camry is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, current on flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. She will come with a health certificate if transported.

Camry's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard she can enjoy supervised (no wireless or electric please) another similar size canine playmate, and no children under 6 please.

Camry is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.

Camry is available through the City of Lytle Texas Animal Care and Control. The adoption fee is $185, and ground transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185. Ground transport runs every 2 weeks and fills up fast.
