Update on Sammy 4/26/09
Sammy was neutered on 4/24 The Dr. check out his heart. Great news Sammy does not have a heart mummer. The Dr. said he may have had one due to being Anemic.
Greetings,
My name is Sammy; I am about two years old. I am an Old English Bulldog and very sweet. My story is quite sad; I am a victim of a Dog Left Behind. A Good Samaritan rescued me from living under a house; my previous owners basically abandoned me.

When my rescuer rescued me, I could hardly open my eyes due to infection, I was infested with fleas. She immediately took me to the Dr. to get medicine and a good flea bath. The drops are working nicely I can final see again, as far as my skin issue it is going to be awhile before my hair starts to grow again they call it flea dermatitis. The Dr. also said I have a slight heart mummer which will be looked into next week when I go to get neutered.

My foster Mom says I am a really nice dog considering what all I have been through. Sometimes I get a little nervous over sudden movements loud noise that will all go away in a little bit of time. So far, I do like other dog’s most of all just to have human contact to be petted, having someone love me. One of my favorite past times is to play ball, fetch and sleep. I am house broken, I know how to sit, lie down, and shake.
