Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Star ...at least that's what this wonderful lady named me who picked me up off the street on August 28th after I was hit by a car and left in the middle of the street for Dead trying to get up but I just could not. When she took me to the hospital in the evening of Aug 28, they took x-rays and did blood work and they saw that I had a bullet in my chest, and I survived a bullet wound from a previous incident. I haven't lived a very good life and nobody ever really cared about me until I met her, but she can't keep me because she has many dogs of her own. She's doing everything she can for me and she wants to make sure I get a foster that will take care of me until I find a forever home, so I am looking for either a foster or a forever home to love me forever. I'm very very sweet kind and loving and I get along with all people and children. I weigh about 63 lb. I'm not so great with other dogs or cats and because I have suffered a permanent injury from the car accident where I have nerve damage to my front right leg I am going to be considered more of a special needs dog and it would be best that I go into a home with no other pets so I can get the specialized attention that I want deserve and would appreciate. I am heart worm negative I'm up to date on all of my shots. In order to adopt me or Foster me you will have to complete an application and provide references along with a home visit and an adoption donation. The nice Angel who took me off the street is going to be sending me to rehab so that I can regain use of my front right leg. In the meantime we are looking for somewhere for me to go when I finish rehab whether it's either a foster temporary or permanent forever home.
