Hi there!

My name is Gizmo and I am an 8 year old white mini Schnauzer boy. I was with one owner my whole life until he passed away suddenly. My whole life turned upside down.

Not only did I really miss him; but no one in the family wanted a "little dog". Consequently, I was taken to the local humane society shelter. The staff was very concerned about me seeing I was not eating or responding well. An angel took me out of there and called Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati. She even drove two hours north to get me to my foster mom who drove two hours south.

Once in my foster home in Cincinnati my life turned around right away. Not only did I have a human Dad again; but a Mom too along with five other rescue schnauzers all that had sad stories like mine at one time as well.
Now I am u-t-d on all shots, micro-chipped and had a dental checkup with only two teeth taken out.

I love walks on a leash, car rides and snuggles on the sofa. I use the doggie door, know steps and basic commands. My ideal forever home would have a fenced yard as I love to run and play outside. I like to be the watchdog of the house and will let you know when anyone comes to the door. My favorite toy is Mr. Bill who I use as a pillow to sleep on sometimes.
