My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kala is an incredibly sweet 10 year old cat who deserves a second chance. Her original owner was no longer able to take care of her, and her two subsequent homes (including ours) have not worked out. In both cases she was fine for over a month until the tension in the house due to already having very territorial/unfriendly cats led her to urinate outside of the litter box due to stress. Thus, she would be best off in a home with no dogs, and preferably no cats.

Kala would be a fantastic therapy animal for an older adult or disabled person. She is the definition of mild-mannered and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is happiest with someone who is home often to keep her company, because her favorite thing to do is lay next to you and purr for hours on end.

Kala has arthritis and requires cosequin as well as vitamins to keep her long fur healthy, but everything she takes comes in the form of powder or a liquid that she has no aversion to taking when mixed in with her wet food.
