Bailey is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH), female, 3 years of age, DOB: (7/21/15).
Bailey is a sweet and talkative girl who quickly makes friends with everyone she meets! She thrives on attention and is quick to call you over if you pass by her kennel. Bailey loves to be pet, especially under her chin and behind her ears. (Check out her photos to see the cutest little goatee!)
Besides being lovable and playful, she's also quite inquisitive! Bailey loves to explore every nook and cranny of her surroundings. She's always looking for that perfect place to cat nap and would appreciate a cat tower or sunny windowsill to hangout in.
Bailey is one-half of a bonded sibling pair. She and her brother, Barnum, came to us as kittens in 2015; Adopted together as kittens, they came back to us in 2018. Unfortunately, they came back to us declawed and attention deprived. Since their return, we've worked hard to restore their trust and ensure that they are both happy, healthy, and confident as they should be. Their combined weight is just over 40lbs; we want to see them in a home where their food intake will be monitored and where they can enjoy plenty of exercise and interactive playtime.
Bailey and Barnum are best suited as indoor pets and companions for just about any home with a moderately-active lifestyle.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.
