My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here comes Dobby!!! Dobby was found abandoned in a parking lot. He had a family at one time, but they are unreachable at this point and Dobby needs a new family to love him. Dobby is a 3-4 yr old neutered male schnauzer/terrier mix. He's very friendly with people & has gotten along well with the dogs he's been introduced to. He's a real cuddle bug who loves to be petted & will greet you with a little doggy dance in the morning! Dobby sleeps well in a crate at night & will go into it on his own when he's not with the people. He's a little nervous inside the house, like he's not used to it but is coming around nicely. He appears to know how to use a doggy door. He's coming along fine on his potty training but will need some time to adjust to a new environment. Frequent trips outside will help along with positive rewards. While we don't know how he would be with children long term, he has been fine with the children in foster care. He does jump up a bit in excitement so older children would be ideal. We do not know how Dobby feels about cats so we recommend that he not go to a house with cats.

Dobby's perfect home will be with someone who is home most of the time. He really loves people. Also, Dobby cannot be an outdoor only dog. He will need a home where he has full inside privileges and supervised time outside. This guy was on his own a long time and we want him to have a cushy life from now on. Dobby's adoption fee is $350. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and neutered.

If you are interested in Dobby please email Anna Stowe at ladyprivateeye@sbcglobal.net. Thank you so much. This is a courtesy listing and Dobby is not an Almost Home 4ever dog. Please contact Anna with any questions.
